Meet Our Instructional Technology Coach: Amy Sery

Amy Sery, Instructional Technology Coach at

The Briarlake Foundation is pleased to report that Amy Sery, Briarlake’s new Instructional Technology Coach funded by your  Foundation, has hit the ground running this fall. Amy has been busy working with teachers and students helping to make learning fun and exciting through new technologies.

Amy has researched and co-taught in the fourth grade and found flip charts related to the social studies and science lessons that teachers were working on at Promethean Planet. She modeled the lesson and how to utilize the ActivExpressions during the lesson. The students were very excited to get to use the new technology.

She is planning on meeting with other grades to integrate new technologies in their lessons as well.

We look forward to sharing more exciting news and updates about Amy’s activities and the great technology enhancements happening in our classrooms.
